With Easter right around the corner, I almost forgot about the other March holiday this year. It seems like stores went right from Valentine’s to Easter without a green trinket in sight! Well, at least here in Hawaii. When we were stationed at Fort Stewart, you were up to your eyeballs in green. Savannah knows how to party!
I was ready to start throwing Easter posts on the blog, when I realized I should probably share this one first.
It wasn’t complicated at all, and unlike many other craft projects that I have the girls do, clean up was easy with this one. Almost impossible to make a mess. And the little bit that got on the floor; I vacuumed it. But that’s only because I’m lazy. You could totally bend over and pick the pieces up if you really wanted to.
Using my Cricut, I cut out the clover shapes. I then stuck each clover outline to the sticky side of a sheet of clear contact paper. Armed with a plate of tissue paper bits, the girls started sticking. I was surprised that they went along with it for so long!
Once everything was stuck down, I took another sheet of contact paper and stuck it down to the paper so that the clover was sandwiched between the two sticky sides. Trim the excess contact paper from the border, and you’re good to go!
